Settlements

When an employee leaves: unpaid salary to the last working day, leave encashment, the outstanding loan (deducted, or carried as a receivable with the loans left open) and any other dues — computed first as a preview, then posted as ONE journal entry. The employee becomes separated and leaves future payroll runs; their history is never touched.
